Undercover delight

I must say I’m quite pleased with this one, mainly because it’s still from December, yet they are actually looking like them (yays!), and well, what could be a better situation than being undercover? >///< *fangirl squee*Sorry for the sketchyness though, haha.

I’m with this massive obsession towards Jane and Lisbon, and whenever I start drawing, it ends up looking like one of them.

I’ve been like this since December, and I can’t seem to be able to draw anything else other than Jane and Lisbon together. It’s like a freaking art block when trying other stuff. It’s not that I don’t like drawing them, on the contrary, I do extremely love doing that; but it’s driving me crazy not being able to draw anything apart from them. I’ve been learning a lot though, I can’t complain, I can now draw them actually looking like themselves without using any reference, and I’ve got a better understanding of the human face’s features in general. Still, I’m feeling deprived of creativity or such.

I guess what freaks me out the most is the fact that my holidays are coming to an end and I haven’t yet done any artwork I feel fully satisfied with, like a ‘masterpiece’ I’d gladly put in my portfolio.

For now, I’ll leave you with one of these sketches I’ve been making on a daily basis, at home, in the subway and even inside the car. Well, I’m a drawing addict and why would I not save that time spent in motion by doing what I most love?
